Instagram Portrait of the Day

Really pleased that this bridal portrait was selected as featired Image of the Day by the Splendid People group on Instagram.

I'm especially pleased and appreciative as the standard of portraits is so high in this group. I was asked how I achieved the ethereal, light look in this image.  The answer is simple - I asked the bride to stand by the window (it was a bright day) and use the curtains as an accessory.  By exposing for the bride's face I ensured that the background light would be very bright, giving me the very bright look that I wanted. The rest was to a case of trying a few different poses - all worked out well but this is the one that really grabbed me, deep and contemplative on her big day. Please feel free to look at more of my Western and Asian wedding images. I'm now taking bookings for 2016 weddings so please feel free to get in touch via the Contact Me page - let's have a conversation about how I can capture your big day in the most memorable way possible. Thanks for reading, Mo
